Food for Thought

As I have been here at Trinity, it seems that all I do during my long time awake is only a few things, which are; studying for school, going to football practice, and sleeping. Oh yeah and I eat when I have time to. Everyone that has gone to college that I have talked to has said, "You better work out a lot so you do not gain that 'Freshmen 15.'" I could see that happening since the only time I see other people besides football and class is in Coats or Maybee. But a big thing that I see as Trinity Life goes on is that no body is getting more obese than I have seen. So now I am wondering has this trend fallen off from the pasted years or is it just at Trinity that has not fallen into the trend of gaining that 'Freshmen 15.'
I have gone back to my hometown and seen many of my friends which was a great experience, but I did see them changing a little. One of my buddies from back home has grown a big beard and got a very little gut added on to him. Everyone else also has seem to added on that little gut that does not seem like much but by the end of this year will be just a normal gut. But here at Trinity all of my friends seem to be nice and fit and not really gaining and if they are it could be mostly explained through water weight.
The reason why I think most of the people in Trinity are physically fit are because of how there are a big percentage of Trinity students that are still playing some kind of sport for Trinity. With a lot of people in sports still means that there is going to be a lot of people in great shape and with the need for more studying since this college is a lot more rigorous than other colleges, means that there is less time for eating.
If you are a person that are losing weight because you are in season like I am, then the tips I can try to give you are try taking some snacks to class that is rich in protein. That little snack could definitely go far in giving you some pick me up during the tiring day. Lastly, if you could just get more rest during the day it could really help you with your all-around health.
